Introduction
Aimed at French and international students pursuing their studies in the field of engineering, the Summer School is a program that immerses its participants at the heart of the challenges of sustainable construction in a smart city.
Its objective is to enable reflection, exchange and sharing between French and international students from all backgrounds on the contribution of themes linked to sustainable development such as BIM, Smart Cities, eco-district and de-carbonization.
This Summer School not only allows you to discover new approaches and technologies, but also offers you conferences and practical work taught by recognized experts in their field.
Cultural visits to companies, laboratories and emblematic sites will complete the program.
Learning objectives
Understanding climate issues with the climate fresco and circular economy
Common thread project which revolves around BIM “Building Information Modeling” simulation and Smart building
Fablab 3D, AR/VR, Biomimicry, Practical work at the City of Water and Sanitation to be confirmed (Impacts of climate change on water management in urban areas)
Eligibility
French and international students, pursuing their higher studies in engineering at the end of their Bachelor program (or equivalent) and who wish to develop their experience in the field of eco-construction.
Masters and Ph.D students are also admitted.
A B1 level in English is necessary to follow the program and good academic results in fundamental scientific subjects are required.
Evaluation
Applicants who successfully conclude the Summer School will receive, after a project presentation, a certificate of achievement stating that they have obtained 3 ECTS credits. A participation and attendance certificate will also be given at the end of the program.
Academic fees: 1 000 Euros per person, including taxes
This price includes tuition fees, teaching materials and cultural visits.
Accommodation, living expenses, insurance and visa fees are not included.
