Description de la formation
The programme begins with a semester (September - December) of study at a school offering a PIM in electronics, where n+i students from several schools are together to improve their French language skills and their scientific skills. This programme gives rise to 26 ECTS credits.
In January, the students begin at CPE Lyon with a bibliographic project, for three weeks, in an area of their choice. This project is awarded 4 ECTS credits.
In February, students then integrate into the normal courses at CPE Lyon (semester 8). The semester is composed of one specialization (12 ECTS), one project (9 ECTS), and 3 modules (9 ECTS) including a language module (French AND English).
Students have the choice between five different specializations : "Software engineering and Big Data", "Image, Modelisation and Computer Science", "Networks and telecommunications", "Web programming and distributed computer systems", "Service robotics".
At the end of M1, all students must carry out an industrial placement of at least 3 months (15 ECTS). Students have the option of prolonging the industrial placement for a full year (60 ECTS).
In semester 9, students continue the major they chose in semester 8 (24 ECTS), and attend two compulsory courses (6 ECTS) including a language module. Please note: the program has evolved, new major options are available. The website will be updated shortly.
In semester 10, students carry out a 6 month research project, either in industry or in a research laboratory.
