Studies in France and health situation (covid-19), October 29th 2020
A new lockdown has been acted by the French government
Dear applicants, parents.
You are probably informed that the French government has decided to lockdown our country a second time, in order to contain the resumption of covid-19 that various European countries, including France, are facing.
These is a temporary and targeted measure, which do not prevent our education system from functioning. In particular, our higher education institutions are adapting to this situation (alternation of distance/presential courses etc.) in compliance with the security rules set by the government.
The experience gained during the first lockdown make us confident about the good organisation of the courses even if they will be carried out with certain restrictions.
We are confident that the situation can be normalised during the 2020-2021 academic year with faster tests, and may be the arrival of vaccines and treatments.
This is why we encourage you to continue to apply for engineering studies in France, as the "n+i" students who have arrived in France this year to study in our schools.
Note that our first session ends on November 11th. This is an important session especially for the Scholarship programmes (Eiffel) and you still have time to complete your application.
