Types of Contracts

The type of a contract depends on the relation that the company wishes to have with the student financed by the company. For a survey and an offer that fit the needs of the company you can contact us at contact.entreprise@nplusi.com

The contracts drafted by the network " n+i" are signed by the student, the company, the school and the network " n+i".  The contract treats exclusively the relationship between the signatories during the training period. It details the usage of the aid given by the company (academic fees, management fees, scholarship, etc.)

We could classify the contract into two major categories:

1.       The company does not bind its support to a post-degree recruitment, which means there is no subordination. The sum allocated can, under condition, be considered as sponsorship from the company. The company can however accept the student as a trainee since the training is mandatory in engineering studies. This kind of support is more of a communication plan showing that the company participates in the training of the “elites” of a given country.

2.       The company searches to recruit one engineer after graduation, which means there is subordination. The company plans to make a job offer to the student at the end of his degree studies. The sum allocated by the company is considered as a reimbursable loan for post degree studies. This contract between the company and the student does not involve the network " n+i". In an ‘ideal’ situation where the job offer is accepted by the student, the reimbursement of the loan is cancelled.

On the contrary, if the student turns down the job offer, the company can

a.       request financial guaranty whereby binding the student to reimburse the sum of money allocated or

b.       take the risk of not demanding financial guaranty but still ask for the reimbursement.

The contract is intended to come under common local law according to the country. The place of work can, upon the agreement between the two signatories, be in France or abroad.
