The Recruitment process

print

The steps in the recruitment process of « n+i » Network are as follows:

1.               Opening (creation) and validation of application forms for students

You should open (create) your own “electronic” application form from this website by clicking on “Apply on line”. Then you must send your “paper” form in order to make the validation of your candidature possible. See “How to apply” for more information on the “electronic “application form” and on the “paper” form.

2.               Expertises of the applications files by partners

Once your "electronic" application has been reviewed (with your "paper" file) by “n+i” network evaluation committee, it will be available to the institutional members of the network (schools and universities, firms, regional governments, and grant-making organizations) for expertise in respect of their own criteria.

3.           Pre-selection of applications forms

Each member institution notifies “n+i” organization of the candidates in which it is interested and describes the financial aid it can provide.

“n+i” organization prepares a list of the candidates potentially admissible by each participating school.

Note that "admissible" does not mean "admitted". The schools pre-select more students than they will admit.

4.           Information, Admissibility, Pre-selection of candidates

For each session, and by using their login and password, applicants can log on to view the results of the selection process on their personal "n+i" webpage, including:
1.      The list of institutions that pre-selected the student.
2.      Tuition, fees, and cost of living.
3.      Financial aid available at the time of pre-selection. Additional sources of financial aid may be identified later-even after you have arrived in France.

Attention : "n+i" Network will not be responsible for any delay, on the student side, in consulting the website regarding the answers which should be given to offers.

5.           Student responses

As soon as you receive offers (n+i website), you must respond via this site. If you have received more than one offer, you must rank in order of preference those offers you would like to accept. Take care: to deadlines! You are free to decline offers, of course.

Several choices could be offered to candidates,

6.           A quotation which make everything clear!

“n+i” will give you “on line “ a quotation corresponding to the costs of your studies in the school including possible discounts.

Note: difference between quotation and invoice?

7.           You must confirm your choice by paying the 300 € deposit

To confirm your choice, you must pay the 300 € (1) deposit before the deadline specified for each session and in respect to this payment we may have different cases. (See page on “session”)

8.           Admission after the payment of the invoice

If you pay the 300 € deposit on time you will have, on your personal webpage, the confirmation of your admission in the chosen school, the exact fields of your studies, the city … and an invoice itemizing the costs of these studies. This invoice must be paid before the deadline. (See page on “session”)

Note: difference between invoice and quotation?

9.           Binding admission

Once the student pays tuition and fees in full, the institution's offer of admission is binding (see deadlines for each session).
10.       Visa procedure

When you will have a definitive admission in a school, thank to « n+i », to study in France you must start the process for your visa. To do so, in some countries, you have to fill a special file on line CampusFrance–CEF. Please contact as soon as possible the French Consulate in your city or the CampusFrance desk.
