The cost of Engineering education

print

To help students succeed in their studies in France, engineering schools may request students to follow integration packages enabling them to resolve problems of insurance, housing, transfer etc. or may organise French language courses to improve French levels or even provide methodological assistance (in engineering schools) designed to improve understanding of teaching methods (note taking, relations with teachers, writing of reports, oral presentations and personal work etc.).

The cultural, linguistic and methodological integration packages are included in the academic training and do not therefore involve any additional time.

The packages for linguistic integration and methodological integration are intimately linked to the academic training and are credited with credits ECTS.

The foreign student has to pay for any special services that do not concern French students such as: recruitment and selection expenses, personalised reception, cost of transfers in France, intensive French courses, methodological and cultural courses, personalised assistance from a tutor (housing assistance, formalities), etc…
The costs of the packages indicated below in the tables are maximum amounts and may be further reduced by supplementary financings from companies, schools and regions etc... ... (See scholarships and financings).
