Difference between quotation, deposit and invoice?
The quotation
As soon as you accept one offer from an engineering school, we shall give you a quotation in order to precise all the costs and discounts (depending on the information we have).
Quotation is just a financial proposal which explains the detail of the costs. You must sign it and send it back to notify your acceptation.
If you accept the offer and the quotation and if you pay (1) the non refundable deposit on time, we shall send you an invoice to be paid before the deadline (see calendar).
(1) Except for students who are selected by school wishing to ask an EIFFEL scholarship who will pay the deposit only after the result of the scholarship EIFFEL.
Note: You will see on your quotation the full costs (tuition and packages). But to make this quotation as accurate as possible, you must send to us, as soon as possible, all information able to justify one exemption for instance.
Up to this stage it is free of charge! You may cancel your application and say no to all the offers.
The (non refundable) deposit
To confirm your acceptation of the quotation and so your admission in the chosen engineering school, you must pay a € 300, non refundable deposit. This deposit will be deduced from your final invoice.
This is the only way to secure your inscription by committing your self.
If you do not pay the non refundable deposit on time your inscription (unconfirmed) your application will be shifted to the following session and on the waiting list. It may be cancelled anytime without any alert by the school if this school has reached its number of regular candidates on its main list.
If you pay very quickly (see calendar), you will confirm your interest and will keep the advantages of the current session!
The invoice
The invoice is an official piece for accounts. The invoice takes the elements from quotation accepted and signed by the student. Invoice must be paid before deadlines.
The invoice and exemptions
If you got an exemption for a package after your paying your invoice, "n+i" will refund you the difference, when you will be in France.
The invoice and the scholarship
If you have not (yet ?) a scholarship or if this scholarship is not already officially signed with « n+i » so you must pay, on time, the non refundable deposit and the invoice. In this case, if you get a scholarship after the payment of the invoice, “n+i” will refund you of the difference.
if you get an Eiffel scholarship you have to pay, before the deadline of session 2, the € 300 deposit and then the balance of the invoice will be paid, once in France, monthly with you bursary (more on Eiffel) .
if you get a scholarship from a French Embassy you have to pay the € 300 deposit and the balance of the invoice before the deadline of session 2.
If you have a scholarship (from a company for instance, officially signed between you and the «n+i» network before the deadlines) so the deposit and the invoice will be paid directly to «n+i» by the company.
