Q: How far in advance of my departure should I begin working on administrative requirements?
As soon as you receive a complete and definitive response to your application.  Start organizing your trip immediately so you can be ready to come to Paris by mid  July.  Quickly book a seat on your flight! ask for a visa!

Q: Do I need a passport? A visa?
You need a passport valid for the entire period of your program in France plus at least six months.  Apply for a student visa at the French embassy or closest consulate. You need a valid passport for the entire period of your program + 6 months for your stay in France. You need to apply for a student visa at the French embassy or a French consulate near to your city.

Q: Will I need to get a residency permit?
As soon as you arrive in France we will help you to obtain a student residency permit.

Q: What do I need to show to the police when I arrive in France?
At the airport, you will need to show your passport and visa if necessary.

Q: I do not have any insurance in France yet.  What happens if I have a problem in the first few days?
As soon as you arrive in France, the “n+i” representative who will welcome you will give you an EduFrance Pass, which provides you with insurance effective immediately upon your arrival in France.

Q: How much luggage can I bring with me?
Do not bring too much luggage because the airlines, railway services or taxi companies may make you pay extra charges. We recommend you a limit of 3 bags and 30 kg in total maximum. France has a temperate climate and there are lots of Laundromats.
