The package «PCLM12» for package for Cultural, Linguistic and Methodological integration is, as the meaning of its name, a mix, in one package, of the three packages for “cultural integration”, “ linguistic integration “ and “methodological integration” which precede in this case the beginning of the Master’s studies in France (pre master)
 
         This training is managed and organized by « n+i » Network.
 
Attention :
Students willing to participate to this programme must be, first, recruited by one school, with “n+i” Network, to make a master in France. Students must apply, directly, through the website.
When the student will have chosen his/her training among proposals, he/she :
  • may ask to take benefit of this programme,
  • be obliged to take this programme as a condition for admission from the school or “n+i” organization, or by the organization offering the scholarship.
 
This preparation « PCLM12 » to studies in France is a one year programme organised:
  • Either in France. This 12-month period will last from September to September, date of the entry in the regular curriculum alongside French students.
  • Or in their home country (under special agreement signed with “n+i”)
 
 
This package « PCLM12 » replaces (and so leads to an automatic exemption) all packages for Cultural, Linguistic and Methodological integration.
 
This training may takes place on different locations.
 
Example of the Programme 2008
  1. Welcome from September 3 up to September, 6, 2008 with other students of the « n+i » Network. This welcome is described on the page [packages for Cultural integration] includes welcome at the airport or station, transfers, accommodation 4 nights in Paris, visits, insurances, assistances, .etc…
  2. Transfer on Sunday September, 7, 2008 to the centre of French intensives courses,
  3. French intensives courses adapted to the level of the student from Monday September, 8, 2008 up to December, 19, 2008 (including 1 week for holidays from October, 25 up to November, 2, 2008).
A 2-day seminar, with professors from the school of your master, to make first contacts and get all information on your master course.
Tourist visits.
During this training, students will be, as much as possible, accommodated in French families in order to boost their discovery of French culture and language. This is also more comfortable to start.
  1. New year holidays from December, 20, up to January, 3, 2009
  2. Courses for linguistic et methodological preparation from Monday January, 5, 2009 up to September, 5, 2009, including 1 week for winter holidays, 2 weeks as spring holidays in April and 4 weeks as summer holidays in August.
These courses include:
a)                 French intensives courses (to improve the French),
b)                 Courses of sciences end technologies (in relation with the field of the studies)
c)                  Methodological preparation (oral presentation, reports writings, ..),
d)                 English courses , if necessary,
e)                 Tourist and industrial sites Visits.
During this period, students are accommodated in residence for students.
A one-week visit to the school of the master is organised in May in order to discover the facilities, housing, location, people,… and prepare as much as possible the arrival. …
  1. September, 6 2009 start of a regular master degree programme in the engineering school.
 
ATTENTION:
 
This training cannot be credited in the engineering curriculum degree and so does not give any ECTS credit
 
The choice of the package “PCLM12” (low knowledge of the French environment), imposes the choice of the complete set of packages (programme).
