The package for "linguistic integration" (PIL Intensive course in French) managed by « n+i » Network, enables beginners in French language, or not, to get up to speed before the start of the program.
This summer course is taught in France from mid-July up to mid-September in professional organizations:
- A Paris à l’ESTP-EPF,
- A Vichy au Cavilam,
- A Brest au CIEL,
- A Strasbourg au CIEL, …..
During this training, students will be, as much as possible, accommodated in French families in order to boost their discovery of French culture and language.
Students should begin learning French before they arrive in France, to demonstrate their commitment to studying in France and improve their chances of success (level A2 expected).
Any students having a package for "linguistic integration" must have also a package for "Cultural integration".
The level B1 of French tests of language should be reached at the end of the first semester of the first year 1 (M1a) and, as a mandatory condition, the level B2 must be reached at the end of the year 2 (M2) (see for special conditions near the engineering school).
The level B2, once passed, is credited with 2 ECTS credits which are mandatory to get the degree.
Assiduity to courses of PIL is so compulsory.
Exemption: To be exempted from the Package of linguistic integration (French summer courses), student must prove a good level in French language through a DELF 2 or with the level B2.
Only the recruitment service of “n+i” is accredited to authorize one exemption of the package for "Linguisitc Integration" (PIL), if the pieces to justify this exemption are received on time.
In case of an exemption, the arrival in France is scheduled in September and the cost of the PIL will be deduced from the invoice.
