Financing your education and Scholarships

An automatic support from France

The studies of Master's degrees in engineering are very expensive all around the world because they need for installations, for laboratories and for top equipments, around 15 000 € a year. But France supports a big part of the costs of training for all the French students, and foreign students too regularly registered to obtain a national degree as proposed by the Network "n+i".

The French Government, in funding directly the higher education, allows the French and Foreign Students to reduce over 50 % of the total costs of their studies in France (academic and living expenses (special residences and restaurants).

Finally the cut on the costs of the studies, to be paid by students, can be identified as an "automatic" scholarship  (between  € 12 000 and € 22 000 € for 2 years training) !

The moderate costs of registration  the schools of the Network "n+i" apply thus take into account these financing ("automatic" scholarships) of the French State.

Funding and Scholarships

How to pay the remaining costs?

There are several possibilities:

  • Personal funding (family relatives) or through a loan in a bank, because education is a good investment for the future,
  • Scholarships from Foreign governments (BGE) cities or provinces (bilateral agreements),
  • Scholarships from the French government (BGF) (Eiffel, Embassies,..), over 30 in 2010,
  • Scholarships from the European Union (Erasmus, Leonardo, etc.),
  • Scholarships from French regional authorities (cities, Regions, etc..), over 30 in 2010,
  • Scholarships or sponsoring from companies, (BEnt),
  • Scholarships from the “n+i” Network, Bni (over 20 in 2010),
  • Part time job during your studies.

Important :

Looking for scholarships is time consuming and this is why to be a candidate to scholarships you must:

a.    validate your file in session 1 and

b.    ask to be interviewed.

Scholarships are given on a merit basis and so « n+i » cannot be responsible if a student has no grant.
