  1. Look for French students in your school and suggest an exchange to them: one hour of French for one hour of your language or conversation, for example,
  2. Listen to the radio and watch television in French. It is effective and less tiring than conversation,
  3. Read magazines or newspapers on a subject you are interested in (sport, politics, environment, technologies, literature, history),
  4. Once in your school, join a student association or club where you can practice French while enjoying theatre, movies, music, painting, video games, or athletic events such as football (soccer), rugby, volleyball, handball, judo, karate, tennis, water-polo, body-building, or any of the myriad other sports enjoyed by French students,
