Description M2
In essence a multidisciplinary program, the Master SAR focuses on the problematic of crosslayer design and optimization and addresses it from a physical layer perspective, establishing bridges with electromagnetics on one side (i.e., wireless channel modeling) and with access, network and application layers on the other side. The core of the syllabus is based on information theory, communication theory and network theory. Each discipline is taught so as to extract the modeling methods and abstract ideas and concepts which make crosslayer optimization feasible.
