Description M1
This specialty concerns multidisciplinary engineers able of understanding the entire set-up of a robotic system. Based on mechanics, it combines electronics, computer science and image science.
The 3rd semester is devoted to the consolidation of basic knowledge in solid mechanics and skills specific complementary, mechatronics and cybernetics in particular.
Pedagogically, use of practical work is intensified in all areas compared to previous semesters. This is consistent with the choice of output profiles: robotics engineers, quickly operational.
Students are also beginning the industrial project, they present a progress report at the end of the semester. This project is done in teams of 4 to 6 students, on behalf of an industrial customer who participates in external evaluation. It is inherently multidisciplinary and gives rise to a specific technological achievement (typically a robot and its control).
