Description M1
The Agri-Food Industry specialization trains managers in the specific technologies of grain industry and microbiological health safety tests.
Emphasis is put on environmental microbiology problems and pollution generated by the agri-food industry.
Two optional modules are proposed in the last year of training :
- Formulation and Quality of Cereal Products
- Health and Environmental Safety
Graduates are prepared to take on a wide range of managerial positions in the industry.

With their advanced knowledge of plant science, food science and food engineering, graduates of this specialization are capable of giving accurate diagnoses on quality and manufacturing processes. Graduate from this program get hired in a large spectrum of professions from R&D to marketing, and in diverse industrial fields like agricultural coops, primary grain processing companies (cereals, oilseeds…) or secondary processing companies (Pet food and animal feed, brewing, starch manufacturing…).
