Description M1
Master degree (French Diploma d Ingenieur) in GEOLOGY and ENVIRONMENT
The curriculum is 2 years long and is based on a large amount of personal work, case studies, field trips and a long-term work placement (minimum of 6 months) in a company, a final thesis in which the student may get involved in collective projects and take responsibilities. For the first year (M1, first and second semesters) bases will be given as a Pathway in order to prepare the Advanced Course offered in the same area of study in the first semester of the second year (M2).
First Year (M1): you will have the core curriculum with bases in management and two electives: Environment and Development or Energetic and Minerals resources.
Between first year (M1) and second year (M2) you will have internship in a Company of 12 weeks and applications workshops of 4 weeks.

Second Year (M2): you will have the core curriculum on cross-curricular Sciences and work in team on an industrial project (4 weeks). 5 specializations offered:

VULCANOLOGY and MARINE GEOLOGY.
In our institution, you will be able to choose your specialization with a professor who will help you throughout your curriculum, plus a French student will be your buddy student in order to help you for the academic and daily life.
