Description M1
M1 corresponds to general courses where the student acquires the necessary tools of an engineer in mechanics and microtechnologies. In addition the student must choose 3 advanced lectures in view of his specialty of M2.
Scholarships M1
Scholarships given by the town of Besancon are possible (300 euros monthly for one year)

Note: a part of (or all) the M1-Period 1 will be replaced by a "n+i" special package designed for foreign student.

Description M2
In the first semester, the student has to choose one of the nine specialties available at ENSMM. Besides he will choose two transverse modules, the choice of which may be guided by the subject of the project work.
The second semester is devoted to the final project work, of at least 27 weeks, usually in some company but may also be done in a research laboratory for those students interested to continue with a Ph. D.
