########## OPTION: TECHNICAL TEXTILES AND ADVANCED MATERIALS ##########
This formation makes it possible to occupy management positions in France or abroad, in companies in research sectors: traditional and technical textiles for medicinal, sportive, transport, building applications with functionalized and innovating textiles, implement and characterization of polymers and fibers, nonwovens, textile finishing, and composite materials (automobile, aeronautics).
///// 1st SEMESTER: The Package of Methodological Integration is organized in our school with specific lessons on basic textile technologies and traditional lessons for engineer (French, mathematic, chemistry, mechanical technology, economy, English).
///// 2nd SEMESTER: textile technologies courses, mathematic, polymers, water chemistry, mechanics of the continuous mediums, sustainable development, enterprise project, financial management, French and English.
You have a personal French student tutor for daily assistance and professor tutor for academic assistance.
After M1b, there is an engineer level training period of 3 month in industry.

There are two under-option : Chemistry or Mechanics

///// 1st SEMESTER: The courses are mathematic, French, English, economic strategy, marketing, conception of innovating textile and some courses corresponding to the under-option.
CHEMISTRY : advanced composite materials, microencapsulation, printing, products for textile chemical formulations.
MECHANICS : finite elements, textile reinforcement for composite, innovating textile.

///// 2nd SEMESTER is devoted to Research Final Project (thesis) 18 weeks in industry or research laboratory (for example in our research laboratory with project for our PhD student). Some projects are in particular with French companies that have subsidiaries in the country of student origin.
