Close partnerships for seamless professional integration

Since its creation, ESCOM has been committed to promoting professional training, and takes particular care to foster close relationships with partner companies.

These two-way partnerships imply:

• a school that is aware of industry needs and which provides adapted training for qualified, highly effective engineers and researchers for the future,

• companies playing an active role in the school's organization by participating in the board’s activities and joining the faculty. They offer work placements and job opportunities in accordance with each student's major.

Internships for a perfect professional integration

During their curriculum, students will gain at least 9 months of professional experience, in France or abroad. ESCOM works with a large network of renowned French and international companies (Air Liquide, Akzo, L'Oréal, BASF Coatings, GlaxoSmithKline, Rhodia, Sanofi-Aventis, Total, Lubrizol...).

A Region combining academic and industrial cooperation in green chemistry

Compiègne and the Region Hauts-de-France are clearly identified today as a benchmark location in Europe for green chemistry works and valorisation of plants. ESCOM and other academic institutions work in partnership with local companies in bio-refining within the Competitiveness Cluster IAR "Industry Agro-Resources". They are also part from a large project supported by the French governement in the framework of the national investment programme to develop an Institute of Excellence in plant chemistry.
