ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE DE CHIMIE DE MONTPELLIER
NATIONAL GRADUATE SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
is a teaching and research academic institution, part of the University of Montpellier with high level research laboratories involved on most fields of chemistry and in process engineering.
Situated in Montpellier, in the south of France. The city is 250.000 inhabitants large, 8th city of France, 70.000 students (including 11.000 foreign students). ENSCM buildings are situated downtown, next to the student residences and student restaurant.
ENSCM is one of the french "Grandes Ecoles" : selective, academic institutions preparing students to postgraduate degrees in science with high-standard professional training in th field of engineering. It is member of th "Fédération Gay-lussac" : network of th 19 Ecoles Nationales Supérieures de Chimie et Génie Chimique.ENSCM is belonging to the Pôle Chimie Balard, that involves 4 more institutions (2 Universities, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique).
ENSCM has a large industrial parnership in and outside Europe.
We are member of N+i network since 2010.
We recruit new foreign students each september. The recruitment for the next promotion starts from year before the arrival.
We have a few scolarships thanks to the Region Languedoc Roussillon
In 2011/2012 : tuition fees are 588,57 € for the engineer diploma and 376.57 € for the doctorate. Social Security is compulsory for students until 28 years old : 203 €
We have a few possibilities for accomadation in residence halls.
