Description M1
Embedded systems are everywhere: computing, automobile, avionics, satellites, telecommunications, home automation systems, medical, electronic consumer etc...Electronics is one of the major disciplines in the conception of embedded systems. It allows the design of integrated circuits (microprocessors, DSP, ASICs), digital and analog signal processing. Microwaves and High frequencies components and Systems are in the heart of telecommunications (satellites, Mobiles phones, automobile, health). The effective management of the energy in these circuits is the common denominator of all embedded applications.

This training is dedicated to the electronic systems for embedded and communicating applications : design of integrated circuits (noise, EMC, energy management, power, MEMs, optoelectronics, instrumentation), RF circuits, antennas (numerical methods for electromagnetism, high frequencies passive circuits, electrodynamics, materials) and the digital signal and image processing (video, telecommunications, multimedia applications). The basic courses concern signal theory, signal processing, electromagnetism, circuits theory (analog, digital, RF) with dedicated lab projects. Finally, the relations with industry and research are important: industrial and research projects are proposed during the two years training.
This master will give a very strong background in all these topics.
The natural continuation after the Master is the PhD for the excellent students interested by research or a job as engineer for students who prefer a direct access to the professional life.



Bourses M1
The real cost is 9000 euros. Exceptionnally, thank' to the excellency of the students selected by n+i, we propose a course fees of 5000 euros. Next year 2016-2017 the program will be taught completly in english. The complete description will be given in december. Up to now the list of the M2 courses is available on this page. The corresponding number of hours and credits will be precised in december.

Scholarship through a reduction of the fees can be offered to students coming from partner universities. Exceptionnaly the same kind of scholarship can be given to top level student.
