Studying in French? Easy!

Speak little or no French? The “n+i” network is here to help.

Learning French is not an extra hurdle, it’s a career opportunity!

In the ten years since the “n+i” courses first began we have seen that conscientious students learn French quickly, thanks to the tailor-made programmes. The vocabulary used for science and technology is not very difficult as the terms are similar to English. Mathematics and sciences (physics, chemistry etc.) are universal!

Whichever course you choose, the “n+i” network has a flexible, original selection procedure in which your level of French is not disqualifying.
NoteLearning French before you leave, even if only for a short time, is important, as it proves that you are motivated and that you are preparing your stay.
The “n+i” network offers a “path to success” comprising 3 packages: The Cultural Integration Package, the Linguistic Integration Package and the Methodology Integration Package.

This period of cultural and linguistic adaptation is designed to bring students up to the level of French needed to pass the degree. This approach is an advantage of the “n+i” network compared to other international programmes. You will therefore have 6 to 8 months in France, to improve your understanding of French and feel more comfortable!

French lessons, from beginners to advanced, especially designed for you will be offered before the beginning of the course (Linguistic Integration Package) or during your course (Methodology Integration Package).
These lessons give rise to credits and take place in France in special training centres.

Please note that, for some countries, a minimum level of French (or of French lessons) or a French test (TEF or TCF) are required to obtain a visa.

Whatever your level of French, a minimum level of Engish (B2 minimum) is required to obtain a Master’s degree.

Some Master’s degrees offer lessons in English requiring a good level of understanding (B2 minimum).
