Increase your chances by beginning French lessons before you leave. It’s the best way to prepare your stay and your studies in France and shows your motivation for coming to France.

We shall request your level of French, both written and spoken, when you register. This information will be used to enrol students for intensive French lessons (Linguistic Integration Package).

Before you come to France, the “n+i” network courses require the following:

A minimum of 300 hours of approved lessons (eg Alliance Française),
Or A2 level in French tests (TEF or TCF).

In order to assess your level of French, we require you to take one of the standard tests for non French natives (1)

The TCF (Knowledge of French) or,
The TEF (Assessment of French),

In countries which do not have a centre for taking these tests, a certificate from an authorised person or organisation may be accepted (more information from contact@nplusi.com).

When students have equivalent qualifications, the level of French will be taken into account when recruiting or awarding grants!

If your level of French is good and proven by a recognised certificate (DELF or DALF) or a language test (B2) then you can request an exemption from the linguistic integration package.

Test and visa: you may be required to show proof of results of a French test in order to obtain a visa. Please ask the consulate or the CampusFrance office in your country.
